Kristina Svolkinaitė - Vocal
She finished her bachelor studies of jazz vocal in Klaipėda University (supervisor S. Januška). Kristina is the owner of an exclusive voice and a perfect sense of swing. She has bee n the participant of nearly all jazz vocal contests “Jazz Voices” held in the city of Klaipėda and numerous other jazz festivals and events. Kristina is the standing soloist of Šiauliai Big Band. She has won the Grand Prix in the International Jazz Artists’ Competition „Sony Jazz Stage“ (Latvia) and „Jazz Voices“ (Lithuania) and became the second winner in „Nomme Jazz“ (Estonia). The audience of international jazz festivals „Lady Summertime“ (Finland), „Kaunas Jazz“, „Vilnius City Jazz“, „Birštonas Jazz“, and jazz club „Nardis jazz“ (Turkey) also had an opportunity to listen to K. Svolkinaitė great performance.
Živilė Povilaitytė - vocalShe is the owner of a powerful, still a mellow voice. She has been singing since her early childhood, when she was recognized by the famous contemporary POP artists Jūratė and Arvydas Vilčinskai who asked her to join their yearlong tour. Being a young artist she became the laureate of the national song contests „Dainų dainelė“and „Giesmių giesmelė“. At high school Živilė became the vocalist of a Jazz ensemble (leader Rolandas Babraitis) and a year after she was invited to „DixXband“, with which she performed in the international jazz festivals in Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland. Moreover, under the pseudonym of Jazzyvile, Živilė is in cooperation with the famous Lithuanian producers of electronic music: Andy Lau, Virus J and Golden Parazyth. After the graduation of English Philology at Vytautas Magnus University, in 2010 Živilė aims to enter the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and study jazz vocal.
Raimundas Arnašius - Trumpet
He is the graduate of S. Šimkus Conservatory (supervisor V. Nemaniūnas) and acquired the bachelor degree of Music in Performance, Jazz trumpet, at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (supervisor M. Kumpys). While studying at the academy, he was a member of the representative wind orchestra of Ministry of Interior and played in the Dixieland band „Sweet Jazz Band”. Being the member of various Lithuanian big bands, Raimundas Arnašius participated in numerous international jazz festivals held in Kaunas, Birštonas and Klaipėda. In 2002 he established “DixXband” recognized as one of the most popular bands in Lithuania. Currently he is engaged in educational activity.
Tomas Razmus - Sax
He is the graduate of S. Šimkus Conservatory and Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and acquired the bachelor degree of Music and Performance, Jazz saxophone. Tomas is the winner of jazz contest “The Aquarelle of Fall” („Rudens akvarelė”). He is a stirring participant of international festivals of jazz music in Klaipėda, Kaunas, Birštonas and Vilnius cities as well as the entertainer in numerous jam sessions. Being the member of various projects, he performed on Polish, German jazz scenes. Tomas Razmus is a recognized one of the most promising sax players of Lithuania who is capable of playing different styles of jazz music. He is the member of Kaunas Big Band and jazz group “?”.
Remigijus Terminas - Trombone
He started his career in Panevėžys city, being the trumpeter in Trumpet Big Band. He has acquired the bachelor degree of Music in Performance, Baritone, at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since 1995 Remigijus has chosen to play the trombone. For a long time he was the member of the national wind orchestra „Trimitas” and several Dixieland bands in Vilnius city. Currently he is engaged in educational activity.
